Our house, what will happen to you?

I’m working 10-12 hours a day trying to save our house, we have lots of politicians on our side, already got a lot of press interviewing us. I don’t know what will happen to our house, but we’re doing everything we can to stop the investor that most likely will kick us out, make luxury flats or even tear down the building. I won’t have the energy to try to explain further, need it all for this fight, thanks for understanding but here’s a translation from an instagram post I made.

But before that: This Saturday, May 24, we’re organising a rally event at 1pm. COME!!! We’re meeting under the clock at the Warschauer/Kopernikus crossing, Berlin-Friedrichshain. Welcome!

That’s why we’re fighting together for pre-emption.

WHAT DO WE WANT?
Our clear demand: stay in the Warschauer / Kopernikus!
Housing is a basic right - not a business!
Housing before profits. Living in solidarity.
We want to stay. Our homes belong in the hands of the common good!
We defend ourselves against displacement and demand protection!
To the state of Berlin: clear the way for pre-emption!
Release the necessary funds for state-owned housing associations that are prepared to take over.
